Celebrates Mother’s Day at Baba Island

brought something truly special to the mothers of Baba Island, a celebration of self, emotion, and healing.  In collaboration with Welnox, we invited 20 remarkable mothers and grandmothers to an experience many had never encountered before: a creative emotional wellness session held at the DMC Boys/Girls Primary School auditorium. Together, the mothers explored their inner child, crafted symbolic flowers in smaller groups, and later gathered in a heartfelt sharing circle to reflect on the emotions that surfaced. It was more than a celebration, a journey into self-expression, connection, and collective healing. The laughter, the tears, and the deep conversations were a testament to the strength and beauty of these women. Each mother left not just with memories and the flower they crafted, but with thoughtfully curated wellness hampers, a gift of care, generously sponsored by Welnox. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity to stand beside these women and honor their stories.
